Replacing this terra cotta on a historical building in Chicago must have been a gratifying restoration project, It’s gotta be fun to find matching material!
This masonry cavity wall failure was due to mortar build-up on the flashing in the cavity causing the drainage to be restricted and moisture to build up. This job was shut down for inspection! The graffiti makes up for it, I guess.
